Qur'an and Islamic studies teacher Graduated from Al-Azhar

Peace be upon you, wherever you are, and God's mercy and blessings. I am Mahmoud Abu El-Magd, 26 years old. I am from Egypt.

I studied at Al-Azhar for 14 years in various educational stages. I graduated from the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Department of Islamic Studies in English, with a very good grade in 2020. I completed the memorization of the Holy Quran at the age of 12, and then I received the Ijazah (certification) in the Quran recitation of Hafs from Asim according to Al-Shatibiyyah in 2012. After that, I joined a course to memorize the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), in which I memorized the book of al-Jam’ bayn al-sahihayn (al-Bukhari and Muslim) and obtained the Ijazah with a very good grade. I have attended numerous courses in various Islamic sciences as well as courses in teaching the Holy Quran, Islamic studies, and the Arabic language to non-native speakers.

I have been working in this field for 5 years, during which I have taught many students of different ages from 5 years old to 60 years old. Some of these students started with me from scratch, not even knowing the Arabic letters. They studied the Arabic language with me until they could read the Quran by themselves from the Mus'haf, and then we completed a full recitation together, with me correcting their mistakes and teaching them Tajweed.
