My name is Mostafa Ahmed Mohamed. My journey with the Quran began with memorizing the Holy Quran in full under the supervision of my teacher, Sheikh Hassan Abdel-Azim. By the grace of Allah, I received an ijazah in recitation and teaching according to the narration of Hafs an Asim through the Shatibiyyah path, with a connected chain that reaches the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
I graduated from Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Languages and Translation, Department of Islamic Studies in English. This academic path helped me combine authentic Islamic knowledge with clear explanations in English, which is essential for students who are not native Arabic speakers.
After graduation, I worked for more than eight years as a Quran and Islamic Studies teacher in a private school. During the same period, I also taught non-Arabic speakers in the evenings at a specialized center for teaching Arabic and the Quran. These years gave me real classroom experience and a deep understanding of student needs, especially beginners.
Later, I moved to online teaching. I completed an intensive ninety six hour training program for teaching Quran and Arabic to non-native speakers in English. I passed all exams and completed the graduation project with a very good grade. I also completed an English conversation course at the British Council, which helped me communicate clearly with students from different countries.
Over the past two years, I have taught more than seventy students through several well known academies. Today, I am honored to be part of Sister Nourhan Academy, helping students recite the Quran correctly, apply Tajweed confidently, and read Arabic with clarity.
If you want structured learning, clear guidance, and patient teaching, I would be honored to teach you. Reserve your class today and begin your journey with the Quran with confidence.
