Sheikh Mahmoud Abu El-Magd

My name is Mahmoud Abu El-Magd. The Quran has always been central to my life. By the grace of Allah, I have memorized the entire Quran and received a certified ijazah in recitation, with a connected chain back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. I graduated from Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Languages and Translation, Department of Islamic Studies in English, which allows me to teach clearly to students from around the world.

At 27 years old, I bring over six years of teaching experience, with more than 5,000 hours of instruction and over 100 students guided. Many began without knowing Arabic letters and, with structured guidance, now read the Quran fluently, apply Tajweed, and have memorized multiple Juz’ by Allah’s grace.

My teaching style is clear, engaging, and personalized. I use modern tools like videos, flashcards, and games while tailoring lessons to each student’s level and goals. I teach in both Arabic and English to ensure understanding and confidence. I aim to make learning the Quran a meaningful, enjoyable journey that nurtures love for the Quran and strengthens your connection with Allah.
